In this paper, we present a new posteriori method to generate high order curved meshes directly from linear through recently developed poly-spline isogeometric (IGA) method. Given an input structured or unstructured quadrilateral hexahedral mesh, our constructs quadratic IGA bases for each element and ensures continuity smoothness across neighboring elements. With these smooth bases, can be sampled into of arbitrary while maintaining consistently continuous interfaces between Several fitting algorithms are adjust the control points ensure final mesh interpolates approximates initial boundary closely. Our requires no CAD geometry guarantee C1 in regular regions C0 spline-incompatible The is compared with elastic analogy based approach shown superior terms computational performance overall quality smoothness. current also extended higher basis construction refinement that important physics simulations.
